You know the phrase “too good to be true”? These aren’t that. Our Ciabatta Rolls are the actual, factual kind of good. We bake them using only five simple ingredients. They taste as good as your favorite song feels. And every bite helps Semifreddi’s continue doing good across our community.
Francese is Italian for “French” because these petite rolls are a little bit of both. The look, shape and style are mostly French. The soft, fluffy interior of flavor-capturing nooks and crannies is vaguely Italian. And the floured crust that makes any sandwich chef’s-kiss perfect is all Semifreddi’s.
Our subtly sweet Challah Rolls and Buns are proud to be size-inclusive because we believe that all bread is beautiful. Here, every burger and sandwich can feel confident to show off all its soft, fluffy curves in Large, Medium, Dinner Roll and Slider sizes. It’s what we call bread empowerment.
We call our sourdough starter “Old Faithful.” Not because it erupts at regular intervals, but because it never fails to give our Sour Panini Rolls the perfect tang for grilled cheese, tuna melts, BLTs and all your favorite sandos. We recommend eating one at the same time every day.
Our French Roll is the workhorse of the Semifreddi’s sandwich lineup. Turkey, salami, roast beef, tuna, PB&J, grilled cheese, veggies and pretty much anything you’ve got goes great between these two halves. They’re tasty table bread too, but that’s just us finding any excuse to eat another one.
Biting into one of our Dutch Crunch rolls is like meeting your favorite celebrity and finding out that they’re actually super nice in real life. It’s…the dream. They’re golden and gorgeous on the outside, soft and tender on the inside and wear a sweet crackle topping that makes all the other rolls stare.
Our head baker says that our Wheat Panini has a “springy, resilient crumb,” which is what we call “insider speak.” All you need to know is that these lightly crunchy rolls are soft, sweet, kissed with honey and perfect for sandwiches or as dinner rolls with a schmear of salted butter.
We love our neighbors, and they love our Pantofolinas. In fact, instead of asking to borrow a cup of sugar, they usually request these soft “little slippers” (Italian translation) for grilled sandwiches, breakfast bread or dinner rolls. Good thing most of them share or else we’d have a problem.
